The PriceAdvantage team would like to welcome Par Pacific Holdings as our newest customer and partner. The company will use PriceAdvantage to determine optimal prices and execute faster price changes among their 80+ stores in Hawaii.
Par Pacific will use the PriceAdvantage cloud offering to automatically send price changes when specific strategy business rules fall within specified market conditions. PriceAdvantage then notifies the fuel team of market anomalies that require review. PriceAdvantage reports and analysis views, along with the integration to PDI and OPIS, allow the fuel team to make the best pricing decisions in this manage-by-exception based model.
“Speed and accuracy are critical when pricing fuel,” shared Jim Yates, President of Par Hawaii. “PriceAdvantage gives us both by removing so many of the manual processes that tend to either delay prices changes or cause pricing errors. Quite simply, it gives our fuel pricing team a new level of confidence and it provides our executive team with robust store performance reports.”
Welcome Par Pacific!

The PriceAdvantage team would like to welcome Risser Oil (Rally Stores) as our newest customer and partner. The company will use PriceAdvantage to consolidate competitor pricing data and rapidly execute pricing strategies
for 54 company-owned and commission sites throughout central Florida.
Rather than rely on store personnel to submit competitor surveys, PriceAdvantage imports OPIS reports
to provide Risser Oil an up-to-date and reliable view of current street prices. Risser can easily reference
competitor prices along with historical store performance to make more informed pricing decisions.
Risser then utilizes the notifications component of PriceAdvantage to quickly send new prices to stores via text or email.
Said Craig Sparks, Risser Oil CIO: “First, PriceAdvantage allows us to easily create store-specific pricing strategies. We then utilize the automatic OPIS data feeds and historical data to make better pricing decisions. The
added bonus is that we can do all this from our mobile phones. Not being tied to our desks is a huge
benefit.”
In addition to overseeing the PriceAdvantage success at Risser Oil, Craig Sparks also serves on the PriceAdvantage Customer Advisory Board.

The PriceAdvantage team would like to welcome Mountain Express as our newest customer and partner. Mountain Express operates in a commission model, as a wholesale distributor. The company will utilize PriceAdvantage to streamline and automate site-specific fuel pricing strategies for 70 commission sites throughout the United States.
Mountain Express selected PriceAdvantage based on the software’s ability to consolidate critical market data, such as OPIS data feeds and wholesale replacement costs, to help optimize fuel prices then push those prices to the store point-of-sale system, price signs, and pumps and then finally verify that those price changes were made. Removal of store staff from the pricing process makes Mountain Express attractive to retailers who are interested in the commission model and will help fuel the chain’s future growth.
“Our business model is very attractive to retailers interested in converting to commission sites. By automating fuel pricing from our headquarters to each store site, we alleviate store personnel from the time-consuming task of conducting competitor surveys and posting daily prices,” shared Ali Husain, Mountain Express COO. “Additionally, PriceAdvantage allows us to utilize our own algorithm and pricing strategies to establish competitive prices that will attract customers, give them choices, entice them to loyalty programs and deliver a first class consumer experience – as well as help us maximize fuel volumes and profitability.”

Skyline Products, a leading electronic price sign manufacturer, announced today the launch of its new software feature, PriceAdvantage Sign Diagnostics. This robust software makes it easier, faster, and more efficient for customers to remotely manage the health and price accuracy of their signs from a headquarters location.
“We’re incredibly excited to make remote sign diagnostics available to all our customers,” said Chip Stadjuhar, CEO of Skyline Products, “Our feedback method is by far the most robust on the market and now our customers can remotely access each of their signs from their headquarters office. It provides an extraordinary amount of control and confidence.”
Skyline has led the industry in powerful, full-loop feedback and diagnostic technology for years, giving customers the ability to receive critical information about their signs using an on-site handheld device. Skyline’s feedback feature set is designed to ensure a scroll or LED price sign is functioning properly and displaying the correct price at all times.
PriceAdvantage Sign Diagnostics makes it possible for customers to harness this information not only through their in-store handheld device, but remotely through PC-based software installed at headquarters. Remote access to these diagnostic and feedback features will now allow customers to better manage sign maintenance across all their locations, while allowing in-store staff to focus on the customer.
PriceAdvantage Sign Diagnostics will now be included with every new Skyline price sign, and is available to any existing Skyline price sign with a low-cost hardware upgrade.
