Skyline Products Announces Exclusive Technology Rights to Patent Behind PriceAdvantage SMART Fuel Pricing
Colorado Springs, Colo., July 16, 2013 – Skyline Products, Inc. announced today that it has licensed exclusive rights to a patent issued to Murphy Oil USA, Inc. in November 2012, which addresses software used to determine and remotely transmit fuel prices to a store, including the POS, pumps, and electronic price signs.
The patent describes the critical aspects of the overall fuel price management process, which is marketed as PriceAdvantage SMART Fuel Pricing, where the software determines the price of a fuel product, sends those price changes to the store including the electronic price signs, the POS, and the pumps, and then verifies the completion of the change.
